How to Complete a Service Transaction

A step-by-step guide on how to complete a service transaction on HitchPin in your web browser.

When you have found an ag service you would like to hire, click on the listing card. Here, you can see the price, details, service area, and what dates the service is available. Click the green Make an Offer Button.

On this screen, you can either make an offer to suggest a different price by clicking the Make an Offer button or click next to move forward with the price as listed. For some services, you will be asked to estimate the number of hours you think this service will require before clicking Next.

Now you will identify the location you would like the service to be provided at. You can either click Select Your Fields to choose a field you have previously mapped or click Map a New Field. When adding a field, you can give your field a name, then plot the field boundaries on a satellite map. To center the map near your field, either choose to find my location using your current location on your device, or search a location using the search bar. move the map around to drop pins to map the perimeter of your field and have the acreage calculated for you or manually enter the acreage of your field in the text window. If the mapped acreage does not match the size of your field, you can adjust the map points or edit the acreage in the field text. You can also include any details about your field that will help the service provider, then click Next.

Now you will choose the dates you would prefer the service to be provided. If the dates you would like are not available, you can always chat with the seller after placing your offer to find an available date. Click Next.

Choose your payment method that you will use for this service. You can choose to add a new account or choose one that has been previously added to your HitchPin wallet. Click Next.

Review your offer for accuracy. If you see a red box across the top of your screen, this indicates that required information is missing from your offer. You can click the red box to return to this step and update your information.

When your offer is complete, click Submit to Seller. The seller will then have the opportunity to review your offer and accept it. You will receive a notification when you have new steps to complete in your transaction.
